Authorities have released the name of the victim killed in an early morning accident on Saturday, September 26th in Gibson County, Indiana.
The Illinois State Police say that 8-year-old Isabelle Preske of Cynthiana, Indiana died at the scene of the two-vehicle collision on Interstate 64. She was traveling with her mother, Samantha Payne, when their vehicle veered across the median and struck another vehicle head on.
Payne, along with two unidentified males from West Virginia, were hurt in the crash and all were taken to an Evansville, Indiana hospital for treatment of their injuries. The two men were both in the other vehicle struck by Payne.
The Indiana State Police are continuing to investigate the accident circumstances.
