Yakym said. “As a proud supporter and past St. Joe County Board Chair, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact these clubs have on shaping the next generation of leaders. I’m grateful to work alongside Rep. Scholten to recognize their contributions and remain committed to expanding opportunities for every child to succeed.”
“As a proud supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and their incredible impact in communities across West Michigan and the nation, I’m honored work alongside Rep. Yakym to introduce this resolution recognizing National Boys & Girls Club Week," Rep. Scholten said. "These clubs provide young people with safe spaces to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Investing in our kids is investing in the future of our country, and I’ll continue working to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive."
"Celebrated since 1941, National Boys & Girls Club Week honors the invaluable role Clubs play in communities nationwide – opening doors to great futures for every young person who walks through them,” Jim Clark, President and CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of America said. “Club Kids are more likely to do better: in school, in their careers, in their health and wellbeing, and in the community. We are especially grateful to our Congressional champions, Representatives Yakym and Scholten, for introducing this resolution and standing with Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.”
