A Knox County woman has died after being involved in a traffic accident earlier this week.
Authorities were called out Monday morning to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main and Third Streets in Bicknell involving a pickup truck and a golf cart.
Upon arrival, they discovered 57-year-old Anissa Everett of Bicknell lying on the ground near the golf cart. She was driving it and was hit by the truck, whose driver was an unidentified 17-year-old male juvenile. He told police that he had the right on way at the intersection and that that Everett pulled out in front of him and was struck.
Everett was transported by ambulance to the hospital and later died there of internal injuries from the incident. The matter was ruled as accidental, and no charges were involved.
