The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire WAKO listening for Friday afternoon and evening. A band of snow is forecast to move through the region primarily between 1 and 5 p.m. CT. Snow accumulations of between 1 and 3 inches are possible, which could result in slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions during the late afternoon and early evening hours. If traveling during the period, slow down and use caution and allow plenty of time to get to your destination.
