The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Howard County starting at 1:00 p.m. Sunday through 7:00 p.m. Monday.
Snow accumulations are predicted between 3 and 7 inches and winds gusting to high as 35 mph. This will make traveling become hazardous and the roads to become slick.
Travel will become difficult with slick and hazardous roads. If you don’t need to be out, please stay home and let your local, county, and state highway departments work to clear and treat the roads. Howard County deputies will be out and about to ensure your safety.
