Authorities in Crawford County say that a fugitive resident of northern Illinois was found and ticketed after being involved in incidents over the recent Labor Day holiday weekend.
The Crawford County Sheriff's Department reported that Braydon Shields from Decatur was involved in a domestic dispute Sunday. Following the dispute, he was involved in a vehicular accident in the city of Robinson. Shield's vehicle was disabled in the accident, and he then left the scene on foot.
He was later located and questioned by police. Afterward, Shields was ticketed for Driving Without a License and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. He was not charged with any other offenses and was released from custody.
