A two day welcoming ceremony for the 2025 Cal Ripken 10 year old World Series in Vincennes has been approved. The Board of Works and Safety Monday night gave the go-ahead to the plans for activities downtown on August 6th and 7th of next year. The World Series will return again to the city and be hosted by the Vincennes Cub League at it's field complex. The welcoming will take place downtown on those days at Patrick Henry Square and is anticipated to draw between 2000 to 3000 people.
