Authorities in southwest Indiana say that a Vincennes man was killed in a two vehicle fatal accident Monday morning in Posey County north of Mt Vernon. Preliminary information released by the Posey County Sheriffs Department indicates that a vehicle being driven by 31 year old Kenneth Vessels apparently crossed the center line while traveling on Indiana State Road 69 and collided with another vehicle. Vessels died of injuries sustained in the crash while the other driver was not seriously injured. Toxicology reports remain pending and the mishap remains under investigation.
