The Vincennes City Council met in regular session Monday evening at City Hall and took action on two resolutions. One was for the appropriation of approximately $40,000 in funding to the Vincennes Animal Shelter. This money will allow for the addition of another full-time animal control officer. The other resolution passed dealt with the creation of a hazard mitigation plan for the city. This plan was necessary in order for the city to receive additional governmental reimbursements for various projects.
