The United Way of Knox County officially launched its 2025 campaign to raise money.
The theme for the effort is "Changing Directions, Changing Lives" emphasizing the power of community support to create long-term, positive outcomes for Knox County individuals and families. Executive Director Scott Charleston said the annual campaign supports more than 30 local organizations ranging from food pantries to early education programs.
The co-chairs for the 2025 campaign are Carson and Whitney Thacker, who expressed their excitement at spearheading the effort. The organization will also host several events in the future such as the Day of Caring to raise money and awareness.
