The Lawrence County Unit #20 Board of Education has approved a limited approval to succeed (LNTP) resolution with a Chicago area firm to create a district master facilities improvement plan.
ENGIE will put together a plan for various projects such as HVAC at Parkside Elementary, interior and exterior door work at Parkview Junior High, parking lot improvements at Parkside and bathroom renovations at Parkview, among others.
These priority project plans would then be approved by the board and ENGIE would obtain bids and oversee the work.
The board also recognized the Parkview 7th grade volleyball Lady Braves, fourth place finalists at the IESA 7-3A State Finals last weekend.
