Lawrenceville High School is in need of a new principal.
The Lawrence Unit #20 Board of Education Tuesday accepted the resignation of Ryan Clark during executive session. Clark had just recently been named to the position in June and began in July at the school replacing Andrew Malone. No reason was given for the resignation by Unit #20 Superintendent Doug Daugherty.
Clark was from Vincennes and came to Unit #20 from the Vincennes School Corporation, where he worked in administration at Clark Middle School. Daugherty told GIANT-FM News that he will assume the duties of interim principal at the school until a replacement is found.
