The Indiana Department of Transportation announces temporary lane closures on U.S. 231 over Big Raccoon Creek, located south of Parkersburg.
Beginning on or after Monday, May 5, crews will close the southbound lane in this area, in addition to the entry to State Road 236 from U.S. 231. Additional lane closures and work can be expected in the coming months with this project.
Work is anticipated to be complete in mid-September but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to slow down and use caution while traveling in and around all work zones.
