This campout is sponsored by U Matter 2 Inc. and was created for veterans to have a safe place, to meet other veterans, and to bond with them so that when a crisis happens, they have a battle buddy to help them through the fire. U Matter 2 wants others to know that someone has invisible wounds, someone needs to know they have a purpose, and someone needs to know they matter.
In their 8th year of helping veterans one at a time, this is their second All-American Campout. Each year, they bring special guests offering services and advice to those in need. They have great activities to help vets meet other veterans with common ground. Cornhole, horseshoes, games, camaraderie and more. Several organizations will attend, and dinner and Breakfast will be served.
The All-American Campout will be held this Saturday, September 14th, from 9 a.m. until September 15th at 2 p.m. This is primitive camping. RVs and campers are allowed but must have their own generator. The location is 18890 5th Road in Plymouth.
The campout is FREE for Veterans and one guest. It is an adults-only event for those 21 years of age and above. You must show a DD-214 or Military ID to enter.
The mission of U Matter 2 Inc. is simple: Helping one Veteran at a time! They are everyday people who want to make a change by helping our local veterans who are struggling in today's world. We want them to know they are not alone.
