Two vehicles were disabled in an early morning crash on Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 6 and Dogwood Road near Bremen, though no injuries were reported.
According to Deputy Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, the crash occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. on June 17. Dana Fisher, 57, of Warsaw, was traveling northbound on Dogwood Road and came to a stop at the stop sign at the intersection. A second vehicle, driven by Matthew Kertai, 32, of Walkerton, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 6 and was preparing to turn south onto Dogwood Road.
Fisher proceeded through the intersection without seeing Kertai's approaching vehicle. Kertai's 2014 Chrysler Town and Country struck Fisher's 2023 Chevrolet Silverado at a right angle, disabling both vehicles.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Bremen Police, Bremen Fire and EMS, and Newcomers Towing.
