Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced the sentencing to two local residents to prison terms recently in Lawrence County Circuit Court (LCCC). 31 year old Jared Deckard of Bridgeport pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Ammunition by a Felon, a Class 3 Illinois felony. He was given 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) and be on 1 year of mandatory supervised release after completing his sentence. 63 year old Lynda Fretz of Lawrenceville pled guilty to a charge of Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, a Class 1 Illinois felony. She was given 6 years in the IDOC and will on mandatory supervised release for 1 year after her release.
