Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced the recent sentencings of two local women to prison terms in Lawrence County Circuit Court (LCCC). 32 year old Tanara Baughn of Lawrenceville pled guilty to Aggravated Domestic Battery, a Class 2 Illinois Felony and was given 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to be followed by 4 years of mandatory supervised release. 23 year old Raelee Poole of St Francisville was sentenced to 3 years in the IDOC with 1 year of mandatory supervised release on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. She had been placed on 24 months felony probation, but violated the terms of that probation. The 3 year sentence will run concurrently with another 3 year sentence imposed on a separate charge of Unlawful Possession of Meth for which Poole had previously pled guilty.
