Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop reports that two people were sentenced to prison terms recently in Lawrence County Circuit Court (LCCC). 31 year old Courtney Malone of Lawrenceville was given 8 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) on a charge of Methamphetamine Delivery, a Class 1 Illinois Felony. That will be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release. 25 year old Razal Frye is an inmate at the Lawrence Correctional Center at Sumner and plead guilty to a charge of Aggravated Battery, a Class 2 Illinois Felony. Frye was given an additional 3 years of prison time which will run consecutively to a previous sentence he is already serving from Sangamon County and an additional year of mandatory supervised release.
