Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and King Road, east of Plymouth.
Deputy Prater with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department responded to the collision at approximately 12:18 p.m. on January 4th.
According to his investigation report, Austin Lalone, 27, was driving a 2022 Ford Escape and was stopped at the stop sign on the north side of the intersection at Lincoln Highway and King Road.
Lalone failed to yield the right of way to a 2013 Ford F150 driven by Jamie Fluery, 46, of Bourbon, who was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Highway.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Lalone and his passenger were transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth with minor injuries.
The crash was investigated by the Marshall County Sheriff's Department with assistance from the Plymouth Police Department and Plymouth Fire and EMS.
