Traffic stop by County Police leads to possession arrest of Argos man

On Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at 2:22 AM, a Marshall County Deputy was patrolling State Road 17 when he observed a gray 2010 Ford Edge parked on 12th Road near Sycamore Road.

The vehicle was in the roadway with no lights on. The officer found two subjects asleep within the vehicle. A canine Officer from Plymouth Police was requested to the scene. The canine alerted to the possibility of drugs in the vehicle, and officers completed a search.

Officers located suspected marijuana,​ as well as paraphernalia that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Jamie Harrison, 56, of Marshall Street in Argos, was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond. A female passenger was released from the scene. ​
