Culver will be selling a street sweeper by sealed bid next month.
Notice was recently given that the Town of Culver has a surplus 2004 Elgin Pelican 3-Wheel Mechanical Street Sweeper with a 3-yard capacity. The street sweeper has just over 7,000 miles on it. The vehicle is sold in “as is” condition, with no express or implied warranties.
Bidders agree that bids will be valid for 7 days from the due date, and the winning bidder will have 5 business days to pick up the vehicle. Payment is by cash, certified check, or money order.
Sealed bids for the vehicle will be opened at the town’s January 23rd Town Council meeting.
The bid submission deadline is Thursday, January 23rd, at 4 p.m. The bid should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as a bid for the 2004 Elgin Pelican. Bids can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Culver Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 200 East Washington Street in Culver.
