Citizens are invited to join Heartland Art Center for an elegant and dynamic evening at its Black & White Gala on Friday, November 7th, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM.
The evening features silent and live auctions of one-of-a-kind art and functional pieces, making them perfect for holiday gifts. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and decadent dessert from Gather2Graze, Mimi's Catering, and La D'Zert Café, along with a Beer and Wine Bar cash bond, although your ticket price includes two drink tickets. Enjoy live jazz music to set the mood, watch art in action with live painters at work, and experience a live painting and dance performance, all accompanied by caricatures by Mark Daniels.
The Black & White Gala also features black and white art exhibits by Heartland’s member artists, and part of the fun will be dressing creatively in cocktail wear that is black & white.
Tickets are $45 per person and include food, entertainment, and two drink tickets.
All proceeds from the Black & White Gala benefit the Heartland Art Center's renovation campaign, helping them preserve and transform the historic Montgomery Ward building into a vibrant regional hub for the arts. This project will expand access to the arts for local artists and community members of all ages and abilities—providing inclusive gallery, studio, and performance spaces where creativity can thrive across Marshall County and beyond.
