The Parke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred Friday on U.S. 36 near Raccoon Lake.
The incident happened when Dennis Brubeck of Rockville and Larry Mooday were stopped in traffic as Brubeck prepared to turn left into a private drive. John Day, also of Rockville, was driving a 2015 Toyota van and rear-ended Mooday’s 2003 Chevy truck. The impact caused Mooday’s vehicle to strike Brubeck’s 2005 Ford truck.
John Day was transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Emergency response teams, including Bellmore First Responders, Rockville Rescue, Parke County EMS, and Double D Towing, assisted at the scene.
