Investigating officers were able to confirm these robberies were committed by the same three men.
Three Indianapolis men are in the Hancock County Jail after two separate robberies at Greenfield Dollar General stores last week.
All three men are currently being held awaiting an initial appearance on preliminary charges of robbery.
Just after 7 p.m. on July 8, Greenfield officers responded to Dollar General, 2000 W. Main Street, after a 911 call was placed reporting that a robbery had just occurred. The caller reported that three black men had robbed the store of U.S. currency and ran out. While officers were establishing a perimeter around the business to search for the suspects, another 911 call was received minutes later reporting a second robbery, at another Dollar General store, 1502 N. State Street.
The second robbery was also reported to have been committed by three black men. This time, however, a Good Samaritan was followed the three men in their vehicle and provided information to the dispatcher. When officers caught up to the caller and suspects, the suspect vehicle had driven off the roadway and got stuck in a construction site along I-70 near Franklin Street. All three men ran from the vehicle into a wooded area and were quickly caught by responding officers.
No one was injured during these robberies and there were no firearms displayed. Investigating officers were able to confirm these robberies were committed by the same three men.

Quentin Lewis,19, is charged with robbery, Level 5 felony.
