Plymouth Police arrested three people over the weekend on charges ranging from operating without a license to habitual traffic violations.
The arrests occurred on Friday and Saturday as officers conducted traffic enforcement and warrant service.
Officer Krynock conducted a traffic stop at LaPorte and Walnut Streets at 9:35 a.m. Friday, January 30, after observing a traffic infraction.
The driver, Jose F. Martinez, 63, of Garro Street in Plymouth, was found to have never obtained a driver's license. Martinez was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operating without ever receiving a license. Bond was set at $100 cash.
Officer Thornton assisted Indiana State Parole with serving a warrant on Friday afternoon, January 30, for a resident at the Economy Inn.
Curtiss L. Bridge, 65, was located inside his motel room and taken into custody without incident. Bridge was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held without bond on the warrant.
The nature of the warrant was not disclosed in the arrest report.
Plymouth Police received a FLOCK (automated license plate reader) alert at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, indicating a vehicle whose registered owner was listed as a Habitual Traffic Violator.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Michigan and Parkview Streets. During the stop, the driver was verified as the registered owner, Justin Michael Wilcox, 50, of Plymouth.
Wilcox was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on a preliminary charge of being a Habitual Traffic Violator. A court date was set in Marshall County Superior Court III, and a cash bond of $1,500 issued.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges mentioned are allegations, and defendants have the right to legal representation and a trial.
