On Friday, May 10, the Marshall County Drug Task Force officers, assisted by officers with NET 43, Plymouth Police and Marshall County Police, executed several search warrants at the Red Rock Inn and Economy Inn in Plymouth
During the operation officers recovered nearly 45 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, narcotics packaging, and other paraphernalia along with a handgun.
Three individuals were arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail. Martha Spencer, 57, of Plymouth was booked in for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a common nuisance, both level 6 felonies. Her cash bond was set at $1,500.
Chad Smith, 50, of Knox was lodged in the county jail for Dealing in Methamphetamine as a level 2 felony. He was held with no bond.
Tiphani Bowen, 52, of Plymouth was booked into the county jail for Dealing in Methamphetamine as a level 2 felony. She was also held with no bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
