With the recent reshuffling of it's police department, the city of Sumner has announced that applications are being accepted for a new full-time police officer.
Application forms are currently available at the Sumner City Hall located at 224 South Christy Street in Sumner during regular business hours.
They must be completed and returned by 4 p.m. CT Monday February 3rd.

Hofmann was recently promoted to Chief after the retirement of Travis Trainer, who was appointed as city administrator.
