State Senator Mike Bohacek (R-Michiana Shores) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2025 legislative session.
Bohacek’s assignments include the Board of Trustees of the Criminal Justice Institute; the Interim Study Committee on Government; and the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation.
Bohacek said, “Study committees help lawmakers continue our work from the previous legislative session and further research topics that may need additional vetting. I look forward to these discussions as I continue thinking about legislation for the next session.”
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
