State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) will serve as chair of the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation and as a member of several other study committees in preparation for the 2026 legislative session.
Crider's other assignments include:
Governor's Security Council
Indiana Behavioral Health Commission
Indiana Homeland Security Foundation
Integrated Public Safety Commission
Interim Study Committee on Public Safety and Military Affairs
"I always look forward to the extra time the interim allows for us to elaborate on ideas and advise state government agencies," Crider said. "On the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation, we will review requests for specialty license plates and road renaming resolutions that honor the best in our communities across the state."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
