On or after Wednesday evening contract crews will begin round-the-clock lane closures on State Road 931 for milling and paving work in Kokomo.
Drivers can expect lane closures and possible flagging at intersections between Markland Avenue and the south junction of U.S. 31. Milling operations will occur at night, and paving will follow the next day. Restrictions will be lifted from 3:30 p.m. on Fridays to 9 p.m. on Saturdays. This work is anticipated to be complete in late July, weather permitting.
Later this year, concrete pavement restoration is planned on U.S. 31 between the north and south junctions of S.R. 931, in addition to a structure replacement project approximately two miles south of State Road 18.
Additional information about this work will be shared at a later date.
