The St Francisville City Council met in regular monthly session Wednesday night and were updated on the ongoing bridge construction project. mayor Mark Boren told WAKO News that the work is progressing although there have been a few problems along the way. All the bridge pilings have now been installed and the $11.6 million project is about 33% completed. The work was being slowed by recent rainfall and will be suspended while the Wabash River levels at St Francisville are high. Work is also continui9ng to restore electrical service to River Park. If all goes well, it is hoped that power installation will be completed by July for summer.
