The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission convened on Tuesday afternoon in the City Hall Council Chambers. With only two voting members and the school’s non-voting representative present, they lacked a quorum to conduct any business.
The commission received a brief update on the Water Street Townhomes project from developer Kevin Berger. He stated that progress is ongoing, with most of the work currently focused on the interior. He mentioned that contractors are working on installing utilities, including water and electricity, to the units.
Next week, work on the stormwater will commence, and in July, work on the exterior will begin.
Berger said the completion date is still anticipated for November.
The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 23rd at 5 p.m. to approve the minutes, pay application #5 for the Water Street Townhomes, and invoices, along with accepting communications. This meeting will be held just before the city meetings at six and six-thirty.
The Special Redevelopment Commission meeting will be open to the public and streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
