Indiana State Police (ISP) report that a Petersburg, Indiana man is in custody after a traffic stop Monday night in Knox County.
A vehicle being driven by 30-year-old Andrew Swain was pulled over on Sixth Street in Vincennes by troopers. Investigation discovered that he was driving while impaired by a controlled substance.
Swain was then arrested and after a vehicle search was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Handgun by a Serious Violent Felon.
He was transported to the Knox County Jail and was booked in on a $15,000 bond.
