The Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village at Vincennes will be closing in the near future. Children and Family Services (CFS), which operates the facility made the announcement this week in a press release. Company officials say that operations at the location on Theobald Lane in Vincennes would cease on Friday March 29th. Cited as reasons for closing were escalating operating costs and problems caring for the needs of acute children among others. The company will be working with the courts to adjust their detaining schedule.
