The Indiana Department of Transportation announces single-lane closures that will impact U.S. 231 south of Greencastle.
Beginning on or after Monday, July 6, INDOT contractors will be using a traffic signal to control traffic, leaving one lane open at a time, on U.S. 231 between State Road 240 (Veterans Memorial Highway) and U.S. 40. The purpose of the lane closures is to allow crews to safely replace small structures and complete drainage work.
Construction is anticipated to last through November but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution while traveling in and around work zones.
