The Indiana Department of Transportation announces single-lane closures on State Road 63 northbound and southbound over the Vermilion River.
Beginning on or after Monday, March 31, crews will close one lane at a time between County Road 600 N. and Maple Street on the northbound side of S.R. 63 and the left lane of S.R. 63 southbound. This will allow crews to continue a bridge deck overlay that has been in progress since last year, as well as remove the traffic crossover in the area.
Work is anticipated to be finished by early June but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, use caution, and travel distraction-free in and near work zones.
