A Ford Escape driven by Shelly Kessler, of Shelbyville, crossed the center line on State Road 44 in Rays Crossing and was struck by a semi tractor trailer late Thursday night.
Kessler, age 46, did not survive the collision.
The semi was driven by Bradley Helms, age 32, of New Castle.
No other details have been released yet.
