Shelbyville Police say that an autopsy and medical tests will help determine a cause in an ongoing death investigation.
On January 3, officers responded to the area of Enterprise Drive and Col. W. T. Conner Way for a male suffering from a medical emergency.
Officers arrived and located a male and female at the scene. Lt. Bart Smith performed CPR on the male at the scene. The male was not responsive to the medical intervention and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time this is an ongoing death investigation. An autopsy was performed, and we are currently waiting on the results of additional medical tests.
