The Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department has announced its 2026 Music In The Parks summer lineup.
Four monthly concerts will be held at Blue River Memorial Park in Shelbyville beginning in June.
The first concert, June 26, features Boys in the Band – an Alabama tribute band – with Joe Hess and the Wandering Cowboy the opening act.
On July 17, Sam Morrison Band returns with a Southern Rock explosion. Corey Cox is the opening act.

Captain Mike & The Shipwrecked (a Jimmy Buffett tribute) will perform on Aug. 7. Big Skies will be the opening act.
And on Sept. 12, 84 & Excitable will perform music from Van Halen and Def Leppard. Nick Fischer will be the opening act.
All the concerts begin at 7 p.m. All four events are free to the community.
Lawn chairs are encouraged. Various food trucks will be at each event.
