An investigation sparked by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has resulted in the arrest of a Shelbyville man.
Terry Wadsworth, 58, was charged with multiple counts of child exploitation for using Kik accounts to share hundreds of images and videos with other users of that depicted sexual conduct with minors.
In June 2024, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported a Kik account that reportedly uploaded a file of child pornography. Another Kik account was flagged last month.
The investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department uncovered files of a man believed to be Wadsworth. Last week, a SWAT team with Indiana State Police seized several phones and various electronic devices during a search of Wadsworth's home.
