While the Shelby County Players are preparing for the final production of the 2025-2026 season, the local company has announced its 2026-2027 production schedule.
The first production will be “Noises Off” running from Oct. 2-11 at the Wortman Family Civic Theater, 1416 Miller Avenue, in Shelbyville.
The final production of 2026 will be “Hansel & Gretel” from Dec. 4-13.
The first production of 2027 is scheduled to be “A Night of One Acts” from Feb. 19-28.

“The 39 Steps” will run from April 23 through May 2.
And “The Children’s Hour” closes out the 2026-2027 schedule from July 9-18.
Audition dates and requirements for each production will be released at a later date.
Next on the stage at the Wortman Family Civic Theatre is “The Unexpected Guest” which runs from July 17-26.
