The Saint Joseph Health System medical offices and departments in the Medical Office Building (MOB) at 611 E. Douglas. Rd., in Mishawaka, are closed.
Overheated infrastructure caused a small fire in the MOB that emergency responders quickly extinguished. To safely complete the repairs, electricity must remain off and patients with affected appointments will be contacted to reschedule their appointments. We are working with the building owners to expedite the repairs and determine when offices will be able to reopen.
The Mishawaka Medical Center hospital was not affected. The hospital remains open and patients should attend their appointments as scheduled and visitors can see family during normal visiting hours.
Patients can visit sjmed.com/MishMOB for updated information.
