Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Elm Road Medical Building located at 60101 Bodnar Blvd., Mishawaka, Indiana. The two-story building is currently home to Saint Joseph Family Medicine at Elm Road and Saint Joseph Sleep Medicine.
“The acquisition of the Elm Road Medical Building is a meaningful step forward in our ongoing commitment to the Michiana community,” said Chris Karam, president of Saint Joseph Health System. “This investment by Saint Joseph Health System and Trinity Health reflects our dedication to ensuring we remain a trusted health care partner for generations to come.”
“Acquiring the Elm Road Medical Building is an exciting opportunity for Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG),” said Dr. Leah Napolitano, president of SJMG. “This space allows us to expand our footprint and introduce new multispecialty medical offices, bringing a broader range of services under one roof. This strategic move strengthens our ability to meet the growing and diverse health care needs of our community.”
As part of ongoing efforts to improve care delivery and expand services, Saint Joseph Health System will relocate several medical practices to new locations this October:
- October 12, 2025:
River Park Family Medicine provider Laura Gettler, NP, will move to the newly acquired Elm Road Medical Building at 60101 Bodnar Blvd, Mishawaka, IN. -
October 19, 2025:
Saint Joseph Family Medicine at Miami Road, including providers Weston Carter, MD, Deidre Coffey, FNP-C, Carol Valdez, NP and Lizzie Russell, NP, will move to River Park Family Medicine located at 1122 S. Ironwood Dr., South Bend, IN.
