A three-month investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police resulted in the arrest of a Dunreith man on multiple felony charges related to alleged sexual misconduct involving a minor.
Detectives with the Indiana State Police Pendleton District, along with assisting law enforcement agencies, located Ronald Elliot Jr. , 37, of Dunreith, and conducted a traffic stop. Elliot Jr. was taken into custody without incident on an active arrest warrant issued stemming from the investigation.
Ronald Elliot Jr. has been charged with the following offenses:
• Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 4 Felony.
• Vicarious Sexual Gratification, a Level 4 Felony.
• Child Seduction, a Level 5 Felony.
• Child Solicitation, a Level 5 Felony.
• Inappropriate Communication with a Child, a Class B Misdemeanor.
The Indiana State Police was assisted during the investigation and arrest by the Rushville Police Department, Rush County Sheriff’s Department, Muncie Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Department, and the Henry County Probation Office.
