A 71-year-old Rockville man was killed in an automobile accident this week in Parke County.
According to Parke County Sheriff Jason Frazier, a truck was traveling along U.S. 36 when it went off the roadway and into Little Racoon Creek three-and-a-half miles east of Rockville.
CPR was administered to the man, who was transported to Union Hospital and later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to Frazier.
No name was released in the initial report.
Both lanes of U.S. 36 were closed during a period of time due to the accident.
