An almost year long investigation by the Indiana Stste Police has resulted in the arrest of a Roachdale man on various crimes against children.
Last June, police received information of allegations of sexual exploitation and child solicitation with a minor. The investigation uncovered that Corey M. Reeves, 36, had allegedly engaged in communicating with a minor via social media and provided controlled substances in order to receive child pornography from that minor. These allegations took place in Putnam County.
Earlier this month, police received an arrest warrant for Reeves and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department arrested Reeves on the active warrant on Tuesday. Reeves was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in the Putnam County Jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
Reeves was booked on a Level 5 Felony charge of child solicitation, a Level 6 Felony charge of child pornography and a Level 6 Felony of contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
