The search is continuing for an escapee from neighboring Richland County.
Nathan Ellison was ordered to report to the Richland County Sheriffs Department this week.
He was to be transported to the Illinois Department of Corrections after being convicted of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
After being convicted, Ellison was placed on electronic home monitoring under the Illinois Safety Act. But upon reaching the department parking lot, he cut off his ankle monitor and fled.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Nathan Ellison is asked to contact the Richland County Sheriffs Department at (618) 393-2921.
