It was a big day for the future on Thursday for Rochester High School senior Tanner Reinartz, who committed to an athletic college career in baseball by signing with Huntington University.
Family and friends of Tanner Reinartz, Rochester senior infielder-pitcher, gathered in the gym at Rochester High School on Thursday in support of Reinartz signing with Huntington University that commits the athlete to play baseball at the school. Reinartz currently plays for the USA Prime Indiana travel organization, along with playing tennis and basketball for Rochester High School.
Reinartz said that he was called to the school because of their baseball program, as well as Huntington's reputation academically. He plans on majoring in business and holds high hopes for his future at the school.
