The voter turnout in Marshall County for Tuesday’s Presidential Election was nearly 66%. The county has 30,017 registered votes and 19,799 registered voters voted early and on Tuesday. Marshall County Clerk Jenny Bennitt said there are many provisional ballots to be considered but not enough to change the results.
There were 12 voting centers in the county and the Pretty Lake Church Fellowship Hall was the first to report to the Clerk’s Office with their results. The Knights of Columbus had a lengthy line at 6 p.m. and was the last vote center to report to the Clerk’s Office at 7:57 p.m.

The county’s unofficial report shows 6,290 Republican Party straight party votes with 1,438 Democratic straight party votes and 1 each for the Libertarian Party and We The People.
The Marshall County Election Board will certify the next in about 10 days.
