The Indiana Department of Transportation contractor, Midwestern Electric LLC, will conduct closures at the U.S. 20/31 and U.S. 31 interchange for highway lighting work.
The ramp from U.S. 20/31 eastbound to U.S. 31 southbound is scheduled to close twice: on or around Monday, September 15, and again on or around Thursday, September 25. Each closure will be in place for one day. Shoulder closures and intermittent lane closures will also be utilized as needed through the duration of the work.
This highway lighting project will be ongoing through early October, and the closure schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time when driving through this area and follow traffic directions carefully. Motorists should slow down, exercise caution, and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
